I must congratulate you on your book which I have just completed reading. I don’t think any reader could have enjoyed the book more than me. I can’t tell you how much it has entertained me. As we get older, we love to hear of the past… Doris Albert. Geoff Haw’s amazing tale takes place over four generations, exploring the great unknown using the most rudimentary yet sometimes most practical of vehicles – the bicycle. … The contrast between generations is illuminating. … While easy to read, the book really got me thinking about how different the world in 2003 is in comparison with 1900, and while our lives have become more complicated and diverse, the bicycle remains a fixture.
