Visiting the past from the present is sometimes fraught with danger, or nostalgia, or a fresh viewpoint. Ah, the good old days, so many say, with a sigh.
My brother Paul is a Viet Vet, as they call them. As a lad of 20, he was conscripted into National Service, and had two years of his life snatched away from his control, all due to the roll of a marble.
